Founder’s Message

Hello Everyone,

My name is Abiy Negussie and I’m a British citizen of Ethiopian origin who has been living in the United Kingdom for the past three decades. As a business entrepreneur in the United Kingdom I wanted to give something back to my home country and I therefore decided to found the Abiy Negussie Humanitarian Organization [ANHO] as a registered charity in 2007 with the purpose of helping street children in Addis Ababa.

I know hunger and poverty first hand growing up in Ethiopia and I always had the desire to share my good fortune with people who are less fortunate than myself.

We’ve grown from a small charity supporting 25 children to a much larger organization which is now regularly supporting 150 children and 750 families.

Come and join our work. Every little bit of support goes directly to helping these children and their families.
